The tragedy, first part of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Goethe’s “Faust” tells a great theater adventure: touching, enchanting, exciting, thought-provoking, laughing and teasing. The dissatisfied university scholar Faust, who suffers from his existence, becomes the subject of a bet between God and the Devil: accompanied by Mephistopheles, who wants to make him divest from God, Faust pulls Faust through the world. He goes through several attempts to give meaning to his life, repeatedly blaming himself. Nevertheless, at the end of his life, his soul is saved from the access of Mephistos by the sheer love of Gretchen.
